My mission is to encourage, educate, inspire and bring out the magnificence in women as they reach their highest potential in both their personal and professional lives.

My vision is to witness women with the courage to dream big, discover their capabilities, and draw on their physical, intellectual, psychological, and spiritual resources to accomplish good in the world. “What happens to one happens to all.”

Are We There Yet !?! Flyer

"Woman, standing on a hillside, peering, peering into blue space.... what will woman be?
.... Not yet fully seen.... not yet fully revealed.... but coming.... coming.... What will woman be?"

-Judith Duerk, Circle of Stones

"Making one’s choices about the future is crucial for well-being.... Women do give up something when they take control of their own destinies--they give up the security of being dependent.... When you make your own decisions, you give up the right to be a victim, since you can’t blame others for your life if it is one you have chosen."

-Grace Baruch, Rosalind Barnett, Caryl Rivers, Life Prints

By nature, I am a networker.

Connecting people and services has been a skill that I have perfected over the many years in the beauty industry.

Beginning with my beauty career, the base from which my professional life began, I have had the good fortune to enter a variety of other exciting and varied professions. Although each career is clearly diverse, the common thread has been that of personal service to people in the community.

As a hairstylist and salon owner, my passion for the industry continues to grow and my desire to gain knowledge persists beyond the styling and chemical processing of hair. That passion now incorporates the search for safer and environmentally sound products, techniques, and new resources for protecting both the client and stylist.

Please visit "Hair Studio" for more information about products, services, location and my current observation of the beauty industry.

As an author with four published books, ranging from spiritual/self-help to an outrageous fiction about life in a hair salon, I’ve had the opportunity to write, self-publish and give my insights, stories, and viewpoint to thousands of readers. My first book, Living on the Other Side of Fear, A Spiritual Passion for Life is autobiographical. Although published in 1999, it continues to sell consistently and holds a five-star rating through Amazon.com. The newest book, Blow Dry This! Stories From Behind the Chair, though fictional, is based on the accumulation of thousands of stories that I’ve heard from standing behind the styling chair for over thirty years. Guaranteed to make you laugh out loud and shed a few tears, you will relate to the tales and ask yourself, "Could this really be true?"

My storytelling style in writing carries into my public speaking. Audiences throughout the country including, healthcare organizations, Native American communities, spiritual institutions, women’s groups and a variety of business organizations have enjoyed and benefited from my stories as they take a simple topic and transform it into a deep learning experience.

Within my ministerial practice--officiating wedding ceremonies allows me the opportunity to start couples on their life journey from the beginning of their public commitment. Taking on the responsibility of choosing the best words that will capture each couple, I enjoy the process of co-creating an unforgettable ceremony.

With my real estate license I remain interested in the growth and development of the surrounding community that I live in (Scottsdale/Phoenix Arizona), and although I no longer list homes or assist in the buying process, I have a strong network of honest, reliable, and professional agents to whom I refer clients.

I realize that purchasing or selling a home is one of the biggest investments one makes in a lifetime. Having had the opportunity to work in the real estate industry for the past several years, I am convinced that having a full-time, committed, savvy, agent is the only way to purchase or sell a home.

One of the tools that I use to allow me to communicate, market, and express my gratitude to my clients is my greeting card business, Send Out Cards.... a proven and successful network marketing business.

Send Out Cards makes it easy for me to send a personal, printed greeting card directly from my computer, with my own handwriting and signature, without having to leave my home. I can choose from either eight thousand available cards or I can create my own with any photo or image that I can transfer into my SOC site. The system is remarkably user friendly and has unlimited uses for any business to capture and retain clients. Aside from the business aspect of SOC, anyone who enjoys staying connected with family and friends will appreciate the convenience.

So that is who I am currently! And as life continues to move forward, I remain open to meeting new people and experiencing new opportunities for self-discovery, connecting and advancing.

Feel free to look through my site. Enjoy your visit and if you have any questions or comments, I remain open to learning. But most of all, let me know how I can best serve you.

I look forward to hearing from you. Hilda Villaverde
