Hilda Villaverde is a hairstylist, author, business owner, public speaker and minister. |

As a skilled storyteller, she uses her extensive background, her passion for inspiring women, and her uncanny ability to share personal experiences with perspective and humor to teach that life is an assignment toward self-discovery, advancement, awareness, and for achieving authentic happiness. Her years of presenting for the University of Oklahoma and other Native American educational organizations, as well as churches, spiritual retreats, wellness institutions, and international conferences, has provided her with the knowledge, experience, and insight to reach a wide and diverse audience. Hilda earned her Doctorate in Religious Studies with an emphasis in pastoral counseling through Emerson Institute while juggling a varied and busy life “doing hair.” She also received an honorary doctorate in divinity through United New Thought Center Seminary Services Network for her work in educating, encouraging, and inspiring women through her books and workshops. When asked where she practices her ministry, she replies that she ministers to her clients “standing behind the chair” in her small beauty salon in Scottsdale, Arizona. |
